Jonah seems to be a mean, prejudice and non-loving individual from “today’s point of view”; but can you “praise God while being killed”? Jonah was drowning and entangled in the seaweed and other plant food the whale had eaten and knew he was dying, yet he praised God for the great God he was and knew him for being! That is a “hateful” person to strive to be as good as!
