If I told you a story about anything that had a great moral lesson would it stimulate a person’s spiritual being (lost or saved)?
If that same story you just read to a group of people got you personally shook up emotionally because the truth about the story involved you and one of your children, but you kept that a secret, would you and anybody in the audience be able to relate to the story in the exact same fashion?
Your personally story would become an unbelievable comparison between what the “audience” could get from understanding the meaning versus what “you get from the story”!
Go to the grocery and buy food.
Observe all the other shoppers doing the same thing. Yet, you are the only person that observed a tornado that stormed by through the parking lot, the gunman who nearly killed you had just been swept up in the tornado before you came in to shop, and the deli meats that you purchased were not handled by the butcher who was very sick. Nobody who comes out of the grocery store would notice anything about the tornado, the robber, the death of the robber, the near-death experience you encountered, the absolute virus that they soon shall ingest and probably spread to some of their loved ones at home, and your extreme joy and thankfulness to God for saving your life, providing the clean food and future health unlike all the other people who also got nutritious good tasting food from the same grocery.
That is an attempt to explain how a person who reads scripture and stories in the Bible versus another person who reads the exact same scriptures and stories get COMPLETELY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES, MESSAGES, DISCERNMENT, MORAL INSIGHTS, AND JOY from God when reading the same thing! PTN (prophetic theological narration) is what Jesus explains to his disciples!
“He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them, it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
Matthew 13:11-17 KJV
Parables have hidden messages. But, so does the rest of the Bible!
THE ENTIRE BIBLE IS SPOKEN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT! WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT SPEAKS THERE ARE TWO (2) DIFFERENT MESSAGES; YET, A DRAW TO GOD FROM BOTH! The draw to God going to the lost is like the person telling the story to the audience getting a great moral story. But, the draw to God by the story reader, which was kept secret to the crowd, has an unbelievable draw to them because it was “PERSONAL”, “A DRAMATIC EXPERIENCE WITH GOD”, AND IT TRULY WAS AN “INDIVIDUAL LIFE CHANGING REVELATION” (like what the disciple John has on the island)!
Have you read the story of Moses about the snakes and seen the prophetic typological narration of the Messiah being crucified on the cross?
Or you visualizing yourself walking across the bottom of the Red Sea with the Israelites when you got baptized?
The whole Bible is prophetic.
The whole Bible is typological in relation to THE ONE, JESUS!
The whole Bible is a narration thru Adam, Noah, Shem, Abram, Moses, Issac, Jacob, Ruth, many, many more in the Old and New Testament(Romans 5:14). As a matter of fact, everybody in the Bible is either “Narrating Jesus” or “Narrating Satan”!
Further, every person in the Lambs Book of Life narrates Jesus and those in Hell has or will narrate Satan!
Lastly, Christians have a general ideology of needing and wanting to ” live Godly lives”. But, do they deeply understand the difference between their testimony and their time on this earth “AS A NARRATION like MOSES”? Do they look for the opportunities to hold their arms up and parting the sea? If a Christian, like most, think their “TESTIMONY IS ALL THEY NEED”, heaven will cry every day more than if they knew the FULL GIFTS JESUS IS TRYING TO REVEAL TO JUST HIS CHILDREN!
THIS CAN ONLY HAPPEN WITH KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT AND NOT THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE.
