#1. Forgiveness is a power given only to Christians.
#2. The power of forgiveness is NOT actually you; but, he that is in you. What does that mean? You can NOT FORGIVE is closer to the meaning than you can. How is that? You can NOT understand forgiveness until you understand the principles of salvation and what the Holy Spirit does to, in and with a person who becomes a child of God.
#3. If a person kills someone and you walk up to them and say you forgive them would it be true according to the Bible? What scripture or story tells you that? Matthew talks about forgiveness and definitively says “A BROTHER”! That also definitively defines forgiveness as only possible from a Christian to a Christian! There are more Bible stories and more verses that talk about forgiveness; but, that is the go-to verse typically thrown to the wind without spiritual discernment. Where is the story of forgiveness to a lost person? I will get back to forgiveness between two Christians.
#4. Back to the murderer, did you die on the cross for that guy? I have read over and over that Christ alone atones for sins. So, where is your power?
#5. Where will you be when the murderer dies and is brought to Jesus for judgment? Will God call you and say, “did you forgive this murderer for his sin”? I really don’t think so. There is also scripture to prove Jesus will NOT!
SO, now all of you saying you should forgive as Christ did have so far have no idea what he means. That murderer will go to hell WITH THAT SIN. WHY? Because Jesus did NOT forgive that man for his crime! Do you believe God forgives sins for the lost and saved? That is NOT scriptural! How does the murderer get his sin forgiven? I think the Bible is about Jesus! Jesus is the word! Jesus is the law! Jesus is the slain lamb! Jesus is the sole sacrifice worthy of imputing forgiveness for any sin! Not a single human being other than Jesus, the Son of Man, has fulfilled the obligation to satisfy that right of forgiving trespass sins or any other!
#6. Jesus told the disciples to go out and preach the word of God. He gives them all the exact same marching orders! He tells the disciples something else besides being a “missionary”! What does he tell them? There is something you must understand BEFORE this thought.
#7. Before each missionary gets their marching orders, he tells them they are “An anointed child with his authority as his child with his resources and voice”! Read the story of the vineyard owner who sends his men to collect what is owed him, the father ( the owner)! When the worker or son went to collect he showed up “IN AUTHORITY” of the OWNER ( GOD 100%)! The decision of the sharecropper was to be dealt with by the collector! They killed the collectors! Does the next guy come with the white flag and beg forgiveness from the murderer so he doesn’t kill him as he did to the previous collector that tried to collect!? No, he does not protest the injustice! He continues to demand payment! He gets killed. Is God going to “forgive” these murderers? What about the family members forgiving the murderers? Does the landowner give the sharecroppers forgiveness and just let them keep what is owed, God? NO! GOD NEVER LETS THEM KEEP IT! THEY ARE THIEVES AND MURDERERS! COMPASSION is not going to help! When Pharoah’s soldiers chased the Israelites across the bottom of the Red Sea did God give them a raft to go back to shore? God DEMANDS JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS! Compassion is an emotion that people need to stop and think before jumping to judgment with their OWN flesh! It is NOT something to give to the murderer!! AUTHORITY demands TWO THINGS, not one! Authority, the owner ( God), DEMANDS a person to receive what he asks for; not what someone else tries to force down their throats. That applies to forgiveness as well! You can NOT give forgiveness to a person who tells the owner he does NOT WANT IT ( that is all lost people period!).
Authority is what God told the missionaries they must recognize before deciding what to do AFTER GIVING THEIR AUDIENCE THE TRUTH. GOD SAID, “IF THEY DO NOT ACCEPT”……… WHAT WAS THAT? GOD told the missionaries to shake their sandals! That was NOT FORGIVENESS! Then God said, “LEAVE”! Then God said he would sentence them. That sentence was “God’s hand”, AFTER THE MISSIONARY JUDGED them. Why? It is what Christians seem to either ignore or refuse to accept, the whole meaning of authority from God. So, to forgive is half of the authority. God doesn’t give his children half of anything!
#8. When a person gets saved, God teaches that the Holy Spirit comes to live in us. A child of God with the Holy Spirit in him is a New Testament walking temple! Priests seek answers! Priests get answers! The Bible, an Oracle, becomes a breathing guide used to teach a person how to “die in the flesh”; and become a “learned child of God” ( Israelite indeed or an adopted heir under the covenant given to Abraham).
If you understand and accept the plan of salvation as God has designed it you can NOT BE OFFENDED, HURT, OR KILLED. But, Christians live in their flesh until they die and tend to ignore what they say they believe! Death is death and Jesus said if they slap you on the right side, then let them slap you on the left. That parable is teaching “YOU ARE DEAD” and they are SLAPPING JESUS- literally!! How is that literal? Because it is spiritually literal! When they swing at you, duck! They will hit Jesus; he will not duck spiritually! Now, how are you going to forgive someone who HAS NOT SLAPPED YOU? That doesn’t even make sense!! It only makes sense if you tell Jesus, I am going to handle this myself! That is exactly what Jonah said! It doesn’t work! Jonah told God to move! When the Ninevites asked for forgiveness he was mad as hell!!!! He said they should go to hell! Why was he mad????? Because he knew what “authority” meant that was given to him! He was going to send judgment on them just as soon as they messed up! He built an altar outside the gates and waited!! He knew just as soon as they went back to their old ways, God would send his mighty right hand ( because it is PART OF OUR PROMISE WITH OUR AUTHORITY GIVEN TO US!! READ Psalms 22!! For he has not ignored or belittled the suffering of the needy. He has not turned his back on them but has listened to their cries for help.
Psalms 22:24 NLT
The Psalms starts as “My God, my God, why has thou forsaken me”! Listen to this verse and think about everything I have been teaching from the scripture about our flesh and spirit! We are two in one body! David starts the Psalms ” IN HIS FLESH”! David ENDS THAT PRAYER AFTER HE KILLS HIS GENIUS MIND AND remembers God’s promise in the authority of being a child of God. Jesus demonstrated EXACTLY WHAT DAVID PRAYED IN THE PSALMS!! Jesus TOLD US TO REMEMBER WHAT DAVID TAUGHT YOU! DANIEL remembered! Daniel told the King, “LONG LIVE THE KING”( the genius thinks he was talking about Saul the wicked King; but, Daniel was narrating through the wicked King that God ( Christ) does NOT DIE!
#9. What did Jonah hate more than the Ninevites! Jonah hated God’s mercy upon the super, super wicked! Remember the Prodigal Son story? The oldest son hated his father’s mercy on his brother in the same manner!! Jonah was a Priest! We become Priests! Jonah knew that that crazy super evil and egregiously wicked Ninevites would become EQUAL TO HIM!!! THE OLDER SON THAT IS NOT FAIR!!!!! JONAH SAID THAT IS NOT FAIR!!!!! OUR FLESH SAYS IT IS NOT FAIR; unless……..?
#10. You can NOT UNDERSTAND FORGIVENESS WITHOUT THOSE nine rules of thumb with scripture and this last one. The last one is how Stephen understood “EQUAL TO HIM”. Stephen WAS BEING STONED and asked God to forgive them. But, that IS NOT THE DISCERNING TRUTH! Stephen WAS ASKING GOD TO “DELAY JUDGEMENT” given to him. When Stephen was being stoned, Stephen knew that when he died he would NOT BE ABLE TO STOP HIS VOICE CRYING OUT TO GOD FROM THE GRAVE! HIS CRY WOULD IMMEDIATELY BRING what Psalms 22:24 says it WILL BRING! THOSE GUYS YOU CAN BET WOULD HAVE DIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What did Stephen pray? “Lord, forgive them for they know not what they do”!
That is what the LORD PRAYED. THE SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT OF THAT VERSE HAS BEEN SO TWISTED ALSO!! GOD WAS NOT STUPID! God knew that they ( Jews!- how many times in the Bible stories did God tell us that very thing? MANY TIMES! GOD WARNED THEM AND PROVED TO THEM HE WAS GOD!) wanted very much to kill him! They not only wanted to kill Jesus they celebrated for thousands of years with Satan to see that he would be killed if God did NOT give them” what they demanded ( the Jews)!
What was that? What did the Jews demand? What do they demand today? Oh, not much! Just put the old temples back! Then put lower-level priests BACK in them. Then offer bloody sacrifices as in the Old Testament? Somebody has been sold “snake oil”!! THEN these Dispensationalists and Jews, tell you and me we have to go BACK to those Priests who would be committing “IDOLATRY”!! THAT DOESN’T SOUND LIKE MUCH!! But, I can tell you, it SOUNDS IDENTICAL TO DISPENSATIONALISM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IS it ANOTHER God who would save “ONLY” them? It has to be when you reject him!! What about the liars regarding the false or pretend 7 year period? What about the misinterpretation of the Jesus will come and reign for a 1,000 years ( Well, will he not? 1,000 means way more than they could count; in other words it was a metaphor meaning eternity)? God had the Gentiles veiled from the gospel to keep them from stopping Christ’s crucifixion!

Read the parable of binding and loosening what is on earth- “the keys to hell”; God has given each Christian a set!! If you open the gate and he doesn’t want to go free, then he can close the gate back. Until you open it, you will be HELD RESPONSIBLE when given a chance! If you throw out the cliche, “God is sovereign”, or “God predestined their salvation”, you are either lost, got saved a half-second ago and suck the largest bottle in the universe which still gives you NO excuse to repeat something stupid and un-Biblical, or you are the one thing that God said was actually OK TO GET MAD OF!!!! I guess you could continue to stand around with an attitude of “forgiveness” towards people that are wickedly committing crimes against “other people” while you are also believing God snapped his fingers as a “sovereign God” ( like the Marvel Comic Thanos) before his hard days of building us a world and pre-destined folks that removes your responsibility, your need to actually “learn the Bible correctly” for decision making, and watch someone else do the harvesting ( which “you” have actually assigned God the job he had designed for you)?
