How many people have you ever witnessed to and they claimed they knew a Christian who said he is a horrible example of what a Christian “should be and they want nothing to do with his kind of people”?
It is never good that Christians sin.
It is never good that a Christian shine like a burnt candle.
What is salt if it has lost its flavor?
Who doesn’t have bad (flesh) days?
Who do you literally know that is perfect?
Will those people who are lost meet a preacher who doesn’t sin?
Where on this planet can a lost guy find ” his perfect example of whom he should listen to?
I want to give you some encouragement about witnessing and going through the day “as a sinner”; but, as a witness ( light and salt). First, try putting on the armor of God. Then throw reality out of the window. Yes, reality seems to be a cliche that is absolutely a “flesh” negative and pessimistic coined phrase! So what; we live in reality! When you get to heaven you will be in reality as well!!!
Those going to hell will be in REALITY!
A Christian needs to read scripture to find his reality; not according to what the world teaches! Reality says we are RIGHTEOUS AND WORTHY; Jesus PAID THAT TRESPASS OFFERING FOR US to walk his universe with authority! I could go on about that for ages, but I want to skip to the reality of each of us having been given “THE JACOB EFFECT”!
Laban in the Bible (Hebrews 6: 1-8) has a guy walk up to his world and as Waters puts it on Fox news, you have entered “Waters World”.
Everywhere Jacob went people entered “Jacob’s World”. The “Jacob Effect” is what God gives each of his children; no matter what their physical condition! I see all the time people many more people with many more difficulties in their reality than mine. But, God owns all the reality everywhere; not us! God is the source of all riches! Do I have the right to tell God he is cheating someone? That kinda summarizes where “the workers in the vineyard” parable went. God gives each us “our reality” and it is hard enough to deal with our own. But, pray for those and he shall answer those prayers if it be his will. Period. What each of us needs to see more of is the “Jacob Effect” (the little Israel effect). I believe most Christians do not take advantage of or they just don’t know about it. When Christians walk around the planet you need to see yourself as having an internal lighthouse! Whether you sin or not! Does a Christian have the power to put God’s lighthouse out? So, that possible argument is not snuffed; look at “Israel”!
People all over the planet think Jews are evil? They live across oceans and many have never laid eyes on them but still think they are evil. Why? Because they saw their hypocrisy as a “God representative”? No? They hate God! Period!
To make this short, we need to understand the “Jacob Effect” (light inside) works even when we don’t.
When God cast Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden they went and moved their house to the back side of it, so it would not tempt them to want to go back in. As Adam and Eve had children they had many who rejected God! They lived on the east side of the garden where the gate to it was placed. It was guarded! Why? Because some people wanted back in! Why? They hated God who lived there, but God offers everything we need. So, their desire was not removable to NEED GOD; just their free will and constant flesh, the world and Satan feeding them the idea they could “CONTROL GOD’S PLACE LIKE THIEVES”!!!! Do you ever see that on TV?
People come to this country which is a
“God’s Country” and absolutely don’t want God; but, they sure as heck want his stuff: security, food, fellowship with others, mercy, protection, as it “rains manna on the just and unjust”here in the ” good ‘ole U.S. of A.! No one has to worship our founding fathers’ God, as agreed with by their God and so written in the Constitution. But, you will witness his glory (Jesus’) on this land whether you like it or not! That is the “Jacob Effect”!
That effect on Isreal and this country is also very real on people in much smaller areas. Jacob (little Israel)had a tiny version of what the nation of Israel receives since God “choose the only people who were worshipping him on the entire planet”! When you choose Jesus, he “CHOOSES YOU TO HAVE SPECIAL GIFTS”. Those gifts are many things! One is you become “salt and light”. What can a person do to stop that? Well, the reality is somebody may call you “pepper”(hypocrite, sinner, whatever); but, their denial of reality is their stupidity! It is God they resist not you! God is the mountain of salt and you never were salt until he gave it to you. This, 100% of that flavor being rejected, is a rejection of the one who created that flavor ( it has nothing to do with you other than you are required to tell them the truth-word).
Our reality of being given the “Jacob Effect” is not based upon our wrongs or rights yesterday or today or tomorrow! If it was, we would not need Jesus! Therefore, stand tall and witness all of God’s table has to offer and see even the dogs want to come and get scraps! Think spiritual instead of physical. Our flesh limits our reality! The world limits our reality. And Satan hates the “Jacob Effect”! This is why a “Jacob” can go anywhere and lead people to Christ! Jacobs feed the hungry with eternal bread and water. How many times do people refer to Jesus feeding people as “a literal source of physical food”? What is the Holy Spirit doing? When you read these stories why do you leave out the Holy Spirit?
Jesus went to FEED PEOPLE BREAD!!!! Did Jesus show up in person to give the Israelites meat or did he just send it? Jesus showed up in person not to be a chef and waiter!!!! Jesus told all of his Jacob’s to go out and divide what was in their baskets. Jesus’ did the initial work and we are called to go out and do more work (all miracles performed by any disciple is only the continued work of God; this is why Moses and Aaron did not cross the Jordan! If God does not get the glory, he will halt the entire process and regroup the scene for his glory. Thus, Moses and Aaron could not pass in order for the people to see God, not Moses as a god.).
