Have you ever spanked your child? Did you do it for fun? I pray not! The reality is a corrective measure to teach and have your child turn to you in a submissive and obedient manner.
If you discipline your child severely it is due to the disobedience being severe as well. It always is intended to LOVE AND TRAIN! Unlike humans, who do fail and punish fairly, God is perfect in his training!
When God punishes ( or chastens- hurts with a compassionate hand ) someone he is trying to get obedience. It is only the devil that punishes ( hurts- with a wicked untempered hateful hand ) for his glory and is not intended for that person to get any less righteous ( good, Godly, clean and wholesome reward from God, healing, love, etc.) second in his life.
Those are facts. Then you have Christians who share the fruit of the spirit which is given to us. We are commanded to die in the flesh that we may live better in the spirit. Such love can not be greater than giving the gospel or as Jesus describes as sowing seed. Have you ever seen those people “turn a deaf ear”? Have you ever seen a person tell their friend, ” that is a bunch of crap”? Have you ever seen a person accept the truth and hungry to recieve more water and bread that only Jesus provides? That is 3 results reworded as in the description of what takes place in the parable of the sower. Then in Mark 4:12, Jesus says they will always recieve or be hardened. Jesus also adds in Isaiah 55:11, your testimony of the gospel returns not void.
Now, that isn’t possible if a lost man can’t have a chance or as a “T”- Totaly depraived man- incapable of seeing the light ( gospel truth- Jesus just said they “could turn and be forgiven” if they so would choose) as only a regenerated man can understand the most simple of all truths as he IS A SINNER AND IS SEPERATED FROM GOD AND GOD TELLS HIM HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN FIX IT ( SEE the story of Adam and Eve)!
NO CHILD CAN BE UNAFFECTED BY YOU CORRECTING THEM! IMPOSSIBLE!!
