The “Apostles creed” has a mistake: it says Jesus went to hell (Hades). All Theologian references to many things should be studied like the Bereans. Hades is heaven and Gehenna is referenced as HELL. Jesus did not go to hell! Jesus was only buried in the “ground” and ascended to the “Father” after three days. That preaching being told about going to get keys is another GIANT LIE from the “great past”!
Study the “WHOLE BIBLE”!
I clearly agree anyone who “creates the idea there is no hell” has created their own bible! As a matter of fact, Satan believes everything that many people, going to church and not, believe; but belief IS NOT asking the Creator God to adopt you as his son (read the story of Ruth- perfect typological story of adoption). Believing truth is not being saved!
Knowing there is heaven and hell and all of scripture does not get you saved.
Hell brings many things to light in a discussion: why do people go there?; is there a temporary place people go before heaven or hell?; is earth hell?; is hell temporary?; is God sending people there because he is mean? Why people go to hell hell needs to be the clear and understood out front and center as fact: “PEOPLE CHOOSE HELL THEMSELVES”! Many say they do not choose hell and then you ask them if they worship Jesus. They say no, so thus Jesus says no man goes to the father but by me and thus you chose “the only other place “God the Father” has left for spiritual beings to reside in the universe. Therefore, “you chose it”!
IT IS NOT PREDETERMINED BEFORE THE FOUNDATION WHO WILL GO!
IT IS PREDETERMINED THAT EVERY MAN WILL NEED THE BLOOD SACRIFICE FROM THE “SINGLE WORK OF A MAN” named Jesus! No other man is capable of doing “that work” (some have tried and failed- one in particular was the first Adam)!
But, recognize everybody needs to work! Just do not try to do the work you can not succeed at. Do the work that is left and expected of you to do, that work Jesus will help you with( you can not do it without him)!
If you do not work God said you were not worthy to eat! It is a great typological representation of spiritual life also. If you do not work like Abraham you do not eat spiritual food either! The work of Abraham was NOT BEFORE HE WAS BORN! Jesus said if you show me a man without works, I will show you a man without faith (a dead man- that meant figuratively speaking about the SPIRITUAL LIFE).
Thus you can no more work your way into heaven, as a fool would twist into the thought, but you can not sit on your butt and stand around as the heathen with “self righteous indignation” and expect the manna to be feed to you because you “were born deserving” like the Saducees and Pharisees and frankly the Jews still because of “inheritence” (like Calvinism!).
What does it profit a man to work? What would it profit a man to work for something he already has?
I heard a man say, ” he rode around on a motorcycle for a long time, up to the age of about 25, and he knew he was a hell raiser and going against God. How would this man know he is violating “God’s moral law without the ability to see and understand he was sinning? Then the next statement was “he just one day knew God saved him. How stupid and self righteous can a man be to think he deserved to be saved and his “buddies riding with him” did not “deserve” the same thing!? That does make God mean and prejudice!
Fact #1: God came to save ALL THE LOST!
Fact#2: God made ALL HUMANS EQUAL!
Fact #3: God made man and woman and we ALL CAME FROM THOSE FIRST TWO HUMANS!
Fact #4: Adamites roamed the earth then the flood, due to sin! What is more merciful: God killing a man and woman who hate him? Or God allowing that man and woman to have 20 generations of kids, and grandkids ALL HATING GOD and sending them all to hell? So, 2 or 1,000 in hell?
Fact#5: Noah had a son named Seth whom a great 7th grandson Abram “choose” Noah’s God but the rest of the new population did not. So, the Tower of Babel started the “NEW SKIN COLORS” ( BUT ALL HUMAN BROTHERS, SISTERS, COUSINS).
Fact #6: Choose GOD, not your skin color!
Choose Jesus as HE IS GOD AND PROVED IT with much of the lost world confirming it!
Plan B- except the option (Hell) the Creator made at the begining of space and time or HURRY UP AND BECOME A god by creating something else!
