Remember the king’s son’s wedding banquet is the prophetic typological story of God in the first person ( God the father) celebrating Jesus’ wedding with us. That king, as Jesus, tells the story to the Jewish intellect and most righteous were the “many were called”( so many have lied about this meaning: first it DID NOT mean everybody, second it was literal to the calling/persuading/notifying them that indeed the Messiah has come-Matt. 10:5 and it has nothing to do with a human’s outcome before birth!). These “many” scripture says were actually “all” ( Luke ) But, few “were choosen” because the gospel is never given to rejectors!
The next “Great Mystery” in the bible has a huge connection in this story. Read the part about the beating and the burning. Luke and Matthew use a little different reference to the “poor, lame and blind (“the good and bad”). These people were the unitelligent, the heathen, the disgrace of human kind, as the “Nicodemous’es” would say. Satan thought he had one last chance with the Roman Caesar Nero (666) to stop the gospel but “the Great Mystery” was God having the stones the whole time in the background as the ones worshipping him.
God has been warning “all” men to stay away from rejecting him. Genesis refers to them as “son’s of men” going after the beautiful women who worshipped idols! The “son’s of God” are the bride at the wedding! Genesis 6:6 and Japeth and Ham even become influenced in just a few years after getting off the boat and marrying those nieces, daughters (whomever were not influenced by their dad’s , uncles to continue and worship Elohim)!
I say this because the interesting add on to women in a wedding banquet is usually their veil.
But, the MEN are called and have the most responsibility “to lift the veil” on their wives and THE LOST! (FYI- huge story of veil with Moses). It seemed to “odd” for Christian men to be referenced as a “bride” to Christ. However, the understanding of our sin and deep thick blinding “veil” that requires being peeled away by Jesus’s acceptance is only the 1st layer. Hebrews 5 reveals how more layers and the “5 G’s of How God Values His Stones”- see previous post) removes thin layers one after another in our growing relationship with our “joint marriage in the “ONENESS OF CHRIST”.
Not so “odd/sissy” anymore! It is truly a JESUS THING!
