On a Mission to Share the Gospel of Jesus

Founder: John Bowen

John accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of six. He was a member of Whitehaven Baptist Church until high school. Soon after, he attended Royal Ambassadors (RA) and became an RA leader for three years and later for another six years.
He became a member of the United Methodist Church for four years while in college and graduated from the University of Memphis in 1984 with a degree in Architectural Engineering.

His Studies
John went on to be a Commissioned US Air Force officer and entered as a pilot. After a while, he went back to the UofM to pursue his studies and took Construction Engineering.
In 2005, he graduated from the Northwest Mississippi Community College with an EMT license. He also graduated from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Biblical Ministry Certificate.

 

Growing Up in Ministry
John has studied the bible his entire life at home, in Sunday school, small groups, youth camps, retreats, and choir and developed a passion for telling the truth. Even after studying for 46 years, he has never heard about the spiritual discernment about parables until just a few years ago. That is when he started Melchezidec University in Southaven, MS.

Understanding the Scripture

The past seems to blur together like a typical, lower-level interpretation of what every atheist could get from the stories. But, there is also a higher level of discernment that comes with every story in the Bible, and Jesus is asked to reveal that level to his disciples.
It is this prophetical typological narration (which Peter explains in 1 Peter 1:10–13) that we share for an amazing revelation about our Father who designed us, made us, and sacrificed His blood for our sins.
