This story has many applications for looking at “PERSPECTIVES”. I found this a really good PTN (prophetic theological narration) for teaching how so many stories in the BIBLE are seen with the WRONG PERSPECTIVE!
Watch this and then read the story of “The Good Samaritan”. Jesus was the guy in the ditch! Who is “Good”? The Bible says ONLY JESUS! Yet, preachers tell you that you can be “like the guy who was good” and take your neighbor to church. Just like that arrogant condescending man who MISSED all the blessings of the true SACRIFICIAL PERSON; the guy in the ditch kept the “good Samaritan” from being the one nearly killed! The guy “in the ditch” who sacrificed “WHAT IS NOT OBVIOUS FOR THE CEO’S SUCCESS” is THE REALLY GOOD WORK!
THINK LIKE THIS WHEN READING BIBLICAL STORIES! SEARCH FOR JESUS, not the characteristics of “good” in the character! It is ALWAYS THE CHARACTER(s) who are supposed be “types” of CHRIST, not a type of me or you! If somebody, even a preacher, tells you that you need to be “like the CEO, you should smile and explain the BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE OF JESUS!
