Did Cain have the law of “do not commit murder”?
NO!
What did Cain try to do about the murder of his brother? NOTHING!!!!
What did Cain think was going to happen by killing his brother?
You must read O.T. stories to get the prophetic typological reasoning from the prophet’s stories. One you must immediately grasp are all the stories about what is promised to the “firstborn”. And what is expected of a brother who is the only living relative of the father and mother, which became himself after killing Abel?
Then the biggest question to this story is to find the reason of what Cain’s purpose would accomplish by killing Abel?
The prophetic typological stories of men becoming new Kings and what they did to protect their lives and throne? Read all the bloodline killings. Read the real threat that Jacob and David had in their lives as the “favored” son; yet, neither was the actual “firstborn”!
This is such an awesome bible study!! An entire fake theology arose out of the “bloodline” discussion and generated one such ridiculous “conspiracy theory” like the angels had sex with women on earth! Sorry, but complete crap!
Cain was the only child left to continue the bloodline of Adam and Eve when he killed Abel. Cain cared less that he killed his brother, but he cared more about how he was going to all of a sudden become a vagabond and possibly a poor farmer (which he was a great one just moments ago)! All Cain wanted was to be able to farm without everyone trying to kill him in the fields. He wanted nothing to do with the duties of his brother! One duty was to continue the bloodline! What bloodline? Cain wanted nothing to do with the “second Adam” bloodline!!
