The parable of the workers in the vineyard, is about what?
Most will say the worker’s attitude!
It isn’t. Fact #1: The Bible is about Jesus; so read every story and find him in it! Many would say that finding biblical morals are finding Jesus. Well, I present another discernment and you examine for yourself the difference.
(1 Peter 1: 10-12):
The parable of the workers in the vineyard Matthew 20: 1-16:
The owner finds people that do not have their hands to the plow (Luke 9). He gives them “ALL” a job. Jesus came to this earth in human form and offered himself up as the only living blood sacrifice that is worthy to satisfy himself as a righteous atonement for the sins “OF ALL” from one man (Adam -our father whom we inherit the first in- the flesh wrapped upon us at birth).
The owner finds many different people.
He finds some at 6:00 am. waiting early to get started, 2 hours before the start of the day. They are eager and hungry for money for many things. He “offers” them exactly what they need for the day! They except and put their hands to the plow at 8:00 sharp!
God finds more potential workers as they have nothing and they agree to the owner’s “exact same offer”. These workers start at 10:00 and some at 10:30 and more at 11:00.
All thru the day, he finds more and more. Each “willing to listen to the terms” and many begin to find his offer so amazingly generous! These workers start at 2:00, and 3:00 and 4:00 pm. Each has been given the “exact same offer”! God continued to find those searching and not searching (bible stories of God’s grace and mercy for the Israelites when they turned to him from idol worship and even sometimes when not turning away God gave them help- Duet.) for work and his last offer was to a worker who started at 5:59 pm.
That worker did not even have time to move the plow; but he put his hands upon it before being told to stop at 6:00 pm! (God says he will show grace and mercy to whom he wills!).
At 6:00 pm sharp God told a man to pay each as agreed which was a full days wage. Jesus died for me, you, the thief on the cross and many others. Will there be different results in each of our plowing through life (James says everybody will receive exactly the same “Crown of Life”- which is not something you wear; but the full relationship like marriage -Jesus himself)? What do you think a man accomplished starting at 5:59 pm, just one minute before quitting time (or one minute before entering the kingdom of heaven (1 Cor. – like a naked man escaping a burning house)?
What about a man preparing 2 hours early, starting promptly at 8:00? If God is the owner of the vineyard (which he is), what do you believe the crop he would have us plant? God says we shall not live by bread alone.
What happens in the story with the attitudes of the workers? It is imperative to notice that God paid each worker “from the last to the first” (many parables and prophetic typological stories go with this (Jacob and Esau; Joseph and his brothers; Jesus before Adam, many)!
God says you shall not look back from the plow when you start and you will not enter the kingdom unless you are “ADOPTED” (look at Paul in Romans, his story is twisted horribly as he explains this exact analogy of himself being shown undeserving mercy and grace as he started at 5:59 pm. He expresses his sorrow for his brothers in the flesh that are not in the vineyard and basically his heart is broken with a mindset that he Saul should not even be allowed on God’s property!). The other workers hated this guy! Why would God give him “a job”? Jonah thought it would be better than God would use Paul (Ninevites equal to Saul) as fertilizer!
Many workers did not like what they tasted. But, Laban is an example of one who had also tasted the fruit of heaven and watched it walk away with his daughters; and he even liked the results of God’s grace and mercy but never committed to worship him (yet Calvinist claim nobody can see God unless saved-lots of lies in the bible I guess they have). Laban’s experience shows he even acknowledged it was a blessing from Jacob’s God. SALVATION (IS PURELY THE LOVE OF JESUS) CAN NOT be denied as it is shown and offered to all! (Romans 1, Romans 8:38-39: “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Paul is describing this hard in chapters 8,9,10 and 11! But somehow, Calvin saw “time” as an obstacle! If Calvin had seen Christ at Christ’s resurrection take that silver Delorean to the beginning of the foundation as the crucified Christ “BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE UNIVERSE”; he probably would have gotten the idea correct, but did not!! Christ stood there at the design stage (predestined the building stage) as Jesus without holes in his hands and also stood there with holes in his hands( just like Marty McFly in the movie “Back to the Future”; both his old self and future self-standing at the same place, yet different aspects due to time of himself- Yet Jesus is NOT OF TIME BUT OUTSIDE OF THAT WHICH HE CREATED- so the Delorean is now a “better word picture” than just the word “predestined” that Paul used for the same visual thought)! You just read in Romans 8:38-39 that dimensions of the time do NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE LOVE OF CHRIST BEING EQUALLY SHOWN TO ANYBODY!
PAUL is trying to describe this “anamorphic expression” (like Moses did in Genesis 6:6 trying to express the sadness of God seeing world idolatry) of communicating this thought to his brothers who wanted him dead! Paul uses a word “destined” and a passage of scripture in Genesis “the image of God” ( Rom.8:29) to describe what Jesus is “offering everybody before creation itself”!
Side note: When you read the O.T. everything you read in it should reflect the same idea as 1 Peter 1:10-11; but it can be hard sometimes because like being literally born we enter into this world as a little baby. When our parents hold us they appear more as a giant, a mother bear, a hen guarding her chicks and that is mostly what is described about Jesus, the God the father aspect of his deity. God, the father is huge! When your father sneezed with you in his arms it would have scared the crap out of you. That would make a big impression on you as a baby. God has many dealings with you as a baby but more with his other children who are completely disobedient thugs! God, the father is not an enabler like humans. God the father demands Holiness. You can be Holy (legalistic attempt) or you can accept him providing the holy sacraments that calm his wrath against brothers and sisters who are hellions!
God writes us all a letter, like a father from the time you are a baby until you become an adult as if he were on a trip working in a distant land and had to leave before you were born. A father can not help you are not able to read as a baby, but, to understand him better he needs to tell you about himself as though you are a baby first. Thus, the O.T. starts this way. To sum it up with two verses 1: Deut. 6:24:”And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.

So, reading the O.T. you do not see a lot of the Jesus with holes in his hands, yet. Jesus, as “God the Father” demonstrates Holiness as the huge creator that holds the universe in his hands! God the father, in the O.T., shows what a great father should do by demonstrating rules, guide lines, provisions, and consequences for disobedience. God is a jealous God and they only FATHER (God) you should recognize. God gets “hot” when child molesters, child sex traffickers, and his children listen to those who want to kidnap them into cults! There are about 21 verses and 3 in the N.T. that testify of God getting very “HOT” (this the single word that denotes his wrath of judgement. Duet. 9:19: “For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the Lord was wroth against you to destroy you. But the Lord hearkened unto me at that time also.”

Then there about 25 more references that show his anger and “HOT” wrath that do not use the word “HOT”; but, you sure do see it. Here is one example in Job 4:9 “By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed.”

Who wants a wimp for a dad? Who wants a God that can be defeated? Our father “El” shows who is boss as the absolute ground work for beginning to understand WHO IS YOUR CREATOR GOD( whether you decide to run away from home or stay and accept your parent)!
As a lost or saved person you better get the idea that “fearing the Lord” is wise!
But, Jesus without the holes in his hands is there also(why is the one with holes in his hands not there during the O.T. is literally because of the human on a clock). You as a grown human with the ability to now read, need to progress in his letters from infancy to maturity; thus, God lays it out in such fashion that you really can not see his comforting compassionate and “cool” friendship as a father and friend when you are 30 years of age that has your own family and a great deal of maturity under your belt.
But, read Revelation, read all the O.T.; you find that humans and angels looked at Jesus without holes and were told you better believe ” I AM” the one who sits on that throne! So, add the thought that during the Garden Scene Jesus with holes sat on the throne but the light of his holiness prevented angels from seeing him in the flesh. Jesus got off the throne and walked in the garden with Adam, which now his light was dimmed that Adam could see him but he never witnessed the “same part of God’s deity” leaving the throne. The O.T. became an entire story that humans and angels would have to trust God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit as being the only “ONE” who sits on that single throne.
Back to the vineyard, the owner of the vineyard will show mercy and grace upon whom he wills; Jesus will not let those that look back with their hands on the plow to enter; Jesus loves the Ninivites as much as he loves you or me; Jesus can give anything he so chooses like the “prodigal son” the entire kingdom if he turns to Jesus; the brother who thinks he should be rewarded more because of his starting at 8:00 or never squandering money like his ungodly brother will find himself “in the front of the line”; but it will be the “last that goes first”; you will not enter heaven unless “adopted” into the bloodline of Christ;
(I can keep going with parable after parable that Jesus is in and not being seen– you better see the better discernment to get his message).
You might have a testimony; you might have tasted the fruit of heaven; you will be held accountable for not telling others about the love you have been chosen to see and picked at 8:00 am (given more time to serve than others) because you “searched diligently” where others DO NOT! “Chosen” is not some selected over others (Gomer, Ruth and The Woman at the Well, sure do blow the Calvinistic narrative to shreds- Jesus proves and demonstrates everywhere and all the time his love goes to the worst of the worst or the not-so-bad, the Jew and the Greek, the ones outside the camp worshipping false idols and turning to him); it is “ALL that is Chosen” to receive mercy before being given his wrath (God entered the garden and saw man’s idolatry! Read the stories of God being HOT!!!! GOD told the Israelites NOT to even morn the death of Aaron’s two sons’s who demonstrated a horrible sacrilegous act of idolatry or he would KILL THEM ALL FOR ONE TEAR; many more times in other stories, another time was like Moses coming down the mountain and seeing the idiots building a golden calf AFTER BEING realeased from Pharaoh, after walking through the middle of a giant sea; after being lead around day and night by a visible God defeating all others and Paul goes straight to the story of Moses and refers to God’s mercy again when he should have made them a pile of ashes!)!
Jesus BEFORE THE CURSE from Adam and Eve disobeying were living in a perfect paradise. One of the curses, I particularly am familiar with is working the garden by the sweat of my brow! The climate was not cursed before sin! There is not any reason to believe there were even seasons before the curse; but, the absolute truth to weeds and sweat were due to sin! When God walked into the garden BEFORE he cursed it, Moses points to Jesus with holes in his hands! How? Scripture everywhere tells us Jesus is the deity of God. Scripture tells us that only Jesus’ sacrifice satisfies the wrath of idolatry or any small sin! Jesus walked into that garden “SATISFIED BEFORE (pre) Adam & Eve committed the very first sin (“destined to see the full measure of God’s love before the foundation”)! Where is Jesus in Genesis?
Walking in the “cool” of the day!
That sentence is another anamorphism used by Moses that Paul is thinking back about in his memory of scripture when writing Romans and describing Jesus’ love poured out on him while walking down the road to Damascus. Paul was like being baptized by the Red Sea and living through it when many did not! Oh, how he wished they would listen! Many of them had tasted the fruits of God by offering sacrifices unto the God of Abraham their forefathers. But, many of his brothers in the flesh (worshipping Jews) did not accept Christ as their blood atonement. They denied Jesus’ qualifications like walking by him in the ditch; completely no recognition of him at all!
Paul is expressing overwhelming grace and mercy like Lot getting to leave Sodom! Then even one who escaped “looked back”; not entering the safety of God. Few enter. Many are called. John describes ” uncountable” as a hard number figure of 144,000. Yet, that expression is also an anamorphism; it describes 12 tribes (all of Jacob’s descendants not literally just another expression of adopted children trusting in Yahweh) times the 12 apostles equals 144. Now 144 times the number of uncountable hills God owns is 1,000 equalling 144,000 people. This is expressions used during the times and with the understanding of the culture. So, like all of the many figurative words being used to describe very difficult revelations you find Paul trying his best with what he sees happening to him which is such a great shock from the wickedness of himself as Saul!
Yet, he as like followers of Pharoah and all the followers of Moses got the gospel and understood the reality of truth!
All of them “SAW THE LOVE”!
ALL of them could have gotten on Noah’s boat, while he suffered preaching to them for about 50 years after he had finished the construction! God was giving Noah time for more life rafts if needed!
Moses had some of Pharaoh’s people converted; how was that? They got the gospel!!! They got “miraculous signs and wonders”! They got what we have never seen! But, the prophets said they wished that they could live during our time because of us being able to see the full representation of Jesus’ love come in perspective that they could ” only visualize with their mind”.
“Grace” is not for the few!
“Pre-destined” is not decided (will) it was created in man (“the image of God”)!
“Mercy” is not good fortune it is “less than the deserving wrath of judgment” ( Exodus 33).
“Salvation” is not something accomplished at the beginning of time ( 0 “AD” & 0 “BC”- the resurrection) but BEFORE (“pre” ) the creation of man BECAUSE PAUL IS SHOWING YOU IT MEANS THE GARDEN OF EDEN! IT WAS predestined that you live in the Garden with Jesus; not outside the garden! It was predestined that all of Adam’s offspring live with his father and creator!
IT WAS “PRE”-DESTINED (this word has nothing to do with God deciding for us!! Or being smart with semantics and saying that humans who disagree with Calvinism are acting “AS GOD”- because that is exactly the ” WORK” you would have to do by being the unblemished God who sacrificed himself for all of mankind!) THAT THE LOVE OF JESUS IS PART OF HIS CREATION AND NOTHING COULD STOP IT!
The “design stage” is also part of creation!
Jesus is in the “full expressed image of God”. God (the full deity of God) designed us in Their image. God did not make us God, but he did make Jesus that way and God gave Jesus exactly what he gave us: THE POWER TO WORK BY SAYING YES AND NO!
If Jesus, who is flesh, is to be fully man then ” IT CAN NOT BE DESIGNED THAT JESUS COULD NOT SAY NO when tempted! Predestined as a Calvinist teaches removes 100% man “created in the image of God” because of we would not have the power to say “no” and it actually means “to eschew evil”! It would be a MONUMENTAL LIE if we were designed to have a choice already made before temptation in our lives! That explicitly removes being made ” in the image of God”! You destroy the work of sanctification! The entire O.T. of God advising everyone to turn and rely on him would be futile nonsense!
NOTHING DOES!
Satan is sure trying!
Satan tries to get you to agree to any substitution!
Satan even goes farther with his lies to get you to believe you “are not created in his image” (in many ways!)!
Satan tries to make you believe you are less than the angels “whom they themselves ” had been given the power of choice”! ( Rev. 12:11).
Satan tries to make you think you are not given the power to tell him to get lost! ( about anything)!
Satan tries to get you to think you are stupid (after all you think that salvation is something different than the same thing that was called fruit hanging on a tree; God said you would die if you eat it! Get this straight once and for all, EATING IS “WORK”! NOT EATING IS A DIFFERENT WORK! Satan continues to spread the lie that YOU DO NOT NEED TO WORK( have you heard this before ?).
Satan wants you as a lazy, unknowledgeable, unpersuasive, unproductive, non-working evolutionary thinking animal below him!
Could Adam have ” worked” his way into heaven? Yes! All he had to do was say “NO”! BUT, he could not! Jesus demonstrated he is the only one that can, or could! So, now the work of Adam had to fall to the next level of wor, which is trusted Jesus standing at the foundation with no holes in his hands or feet ( As like Marty McFly in the younger and not same future person talking him, “I GOT YOU COVERED”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All you have to do now is trust me like I Pre-destined you to do in the beginning by not disobeying me again! But, this is the last predestined warning you will get. “My grace is sufficient for all of your sins and your children’s sins (Jew and Gentile; all flesh that comes from you- every lost person procreate from you!).
Satan wants you sitting on your butt about everything, handing God the responsibility he handed you!
Satan will bring into your life every chance he gets a worthless piece of a Samaritan that looks to have done nothing worthy (from your evaluation of justice deserving heaven) testifying of receiving God’s grace, mercy, predestined love and adoption into his bloodline (like me telling you now) you are not “elected” and should STOP pretending to be like your brother (me) because look how he treats you (did he give you his ring? did you leave the house (church of God) to follow wickedness like your prodigal brother (I or some other person you might think does not deserve Jesus as Paul thought many were thinking about him)? do you not deserve better than that piece of junk? do not waste your time on that man in the ditch (as the “self-righteous walked by God in the ditch -Good Samaritan parable), because he is where he should be, as God is sovereign and WILL SAVE HIM IF HE NEEDS to be SAVED).
So, if you see people in a house burning LET IT BURN! EVERYTHING ABOUT LIFE AND DEATH IS PREDESTINED! YOU ARE A FOOL believing Satan!
YOU CHOOSE from the power given you “AT CREATION” (the design stages).
